Web programming

For complex web applications with database connectivity and dynamic content, Ascendo uses one of the most popular server side scripting languages - PHP. PHP is a secure, open-source, multi-platform programming language. For the graphic interface Ascendo uses standard HTML or XHTML improved with the functionality of CSS and Javascript. Java applets, XML/XSL/XSD or Flash animations are also used to solve complex tasks or to give a more artistic design when required. We can also offer simple ASP/VB solutions for compatibility with Windows platforms.

Databases

Ascendo offers web-based and standalone solutions mainly built on the MySQL database. MySQL is a powerful database system which is easy to administrate, maintain and work with. Ascendo can also offer connectivity to Microsoft SQL server, Access databases or Oracle using the ODBC drivers (Open Database Connectivity).

Programming

For standalone applications Ascendo uses C/C++ or Java on any platform (Windows/Unix/Linux).

Microsoft .Net Technology

Ascendo is familiar with the .Net technology being able to deliver web and standalone solutions involving ASP.Net and C#.
